If you show this article to your significant other they will simply brush it off, I can guarantee that. Women expect a diamond when getting engaged. That's the way things are these days and there's no way of getting around it. If you want to get married you almost always have to have one. But here's the deal: All women care about diamonds is the size and the style. They dont care/know anything about the cut, color or clarity nor do they need to. You're not buying this diamond for its investment value, you're buying it to get married. As long as you stay married she will NEVER sell the ring so who cares if its a lesser quality? Save some bucks and get an average to below average diamond quality and mainly aim for size. If you do end up getting divorced and she tries to sell the diamond she will realize then that the diamond wont be worth that much, to her surprise. :)
